Oceania’s Ammonia bunker vessel, Oceania α is under development in collaboration with Seatech Solutions.
Our NH3 BV vessel will utilise ammonia as a marine fuel coupled with hybrid battery electric technology to minimise emissions during operation.
Oceania α
Oceania α is Oceania’s first low-carbon Ammonia bunker vessel. Oceania α, a 10,000m3 bunker vessel will be powered by low-carbon Ammonia with a cargo capacity to deliver multiple parcels of NH3.
The bunker vessel is designed specifically for loading operations in the Port of Dampier. Interfacing with the Bulk Liquids Berth and conducting Ship to Ship transfers at anchorage.
Designed in collaboration with Seatech Solutions, Oceania α has secured approval in principle [AiP] with DNV Class in Q3 2025.
