The Australian Energy Advantage
A competitive framework of natural gas and energy suppliers in the Pilbara provide low-carbon feedstock for the production and supply of clean ammonia for marine bunkering.
Additionally a multitude of renewable energy projects are developing significant generation capacity within the region - enabling a future of green sustainable fuel production:
- 15 Gw of Wind and Solar generation have gained environmental Approval in 2020
- 26 Gw planned to come on stream in later phases
- 15 Gw of electrolyser capacity
Oceania have secured an MOU with NH3 Clean Energy, located in the Maitland SIA, to collaborate on development planning, feasibility and supply of low-carbon ammonia for bunkering in Dampier.
